Salmon Bay School Auction

Give someone a 4x4 space and watch them make it their own! In early April a class from Salmon Bay rolled through the studio to create a tiled table- which was then auctioned off to raise money for their school.

The twenty four kiddos did a wonderful job, each painting tiles to reflect what their home town of Seattle meant to them- finding crabs at Golden Gardens, taking the ferry to Bainbridge, or a wonderful rainbow after waiting out a shower. Events like this make Anecdotes feel like part of the greater community of Ballard - and we learned the table was auctioned off to a forever home where it will be appreciated for years to come. We loved having each kid, equipped with their imagination and shining personality in our studio to create a beautiful and lasting piece of art. Rock on Salmon Bay!
